Ronald I. Katz, DDS - Retired

Dr. Ronald I. Katz has been an important part of the Katz family’s long-standing tradition of dentistry and commitment to the Webster community.

Dr. Katz was born in Liberty, New York, and graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1966. Following dental school, he served in the United States Air Force as a Captain and dentist, stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

In 1969, Dr. Katz moved to Rochester and purchased a small two-chair dental practice in Webster from Dr. Daily. As the practice grew, it quickly became clear that a larger space was needed. In 1971, Dr. Katz moved the practice to its current location on Ridge Road, where the foundation for the family dental practice continued to grow.

Dr. Katz practiced alongside his wife, Kathy, for many years. Together, they built lasting relationships with generations of patients and became a valued part of the Webster community.

Ron and Kathy retired from dentistry in 2006 and moved to Florida, where they continue to enjoy an active retirement. Ron especially enjoys playing tennis and fishing.

Today, Dr. Katz is proud to see the family tradition of caring for patients continue through the next generation.
